The modern culture can be briefly said to be urban and industrialized. The child only sees sprawling cities and industrial establishments machines and tools.

It is but natural that the child is confronted with speed, noise and pollution around him. It is therefore incumbent on the school to teach children understand the modern culture and to make suitable adjustment in the culture of today.

Small infants and children should get opportunities in the school to handle instruments, gadget and toys for the preparation for their future life.
