"This book consists of a collection of articles and research papers prepared by me about Gandhian philosophy. Some of these papers were presented in national seminars and conferences. Some others were published in different journals like Gandhi Marg, Kisan World, Journal of Non-violence and peace, Saptagiri and Prabudha Bharata from time to time. The author felt that the best contribution author could make to the study of Gandhian thought would be to put on record my understanding of Gandhian philosophy in a brief compass, entitled "Quintessence of Gandhian Thought". These papers were brought together in the form of a book with the hope that students of Gandhian philosophy will profitably use it." (jacket)
