Role of Education in Countries Development

Plays a formative role in the growth of a country. This book is a brief survey of historical development of education and our country since Vedic period to the present age. During the Vedic period the education system was completely different from the present age. Instructions were imparted in ashrams of guru. In the early Vedic period education was open to women. Women sages were called bharamavadinis. The names of 72 women rishis are mentioned in Rigved. The area of learning was very wide it includes Azrveda, warcraft especially for princes, astronomy arithmetic, statecraft (politics) etc. Further this book throws a fresh light on the development new education pattern, implicating English education, and how it made the mind of peoples.
