Like The Tiger is for the forests, the Sarus is for the wetlands. The fate of these two is inseparable. Wetlands not only provide habitat to the Sarus and other biodiversity, they are also the life-line of human civilization. It is not that only large wetland and river are important, but small village ponds and lakes, called pokhar in local language are equally important.
Through this large-sized premium publication we want to highlight the beauty and grandeur of the Sarus Crane - the Tallest flying bird.
