The present book  has  made  a  serious  effort  to examine and analyse the impact of caste based reservations  on  both  Indian society  and  polity,  the  extent  of  caste based reservations having been able to achieve  their  objectives,  the  extent  of benefits  of  caste  based  reservations being absorbed and used by the creamy layer, the justification of extending time limit for such reservations and finally the Gandhian  model  of  Sarvodaya’s capabilities and competency to provide available and useful solution to caste based reservations  (if  any). The  author  has given very interesting facts in his study and the presentation and analysis is of a very high quality.
