Textile Chemistry includes all the basics that are required to understand the world of textiles. The book is specially written for the students of textiles. It is comprised of seven chapters of which first second and third chapters are related to fibers yarns and fabrics respectively. All the types of fibers their properties and uses manufacturing of yarns from fibers and various fabric construction techniques are explained. In the further chapters dyeing finishing and testing of textiles are discussed. The exercise at the end of the chapters will increase the reasoning power of students and this will help in better understanding of the concepts.
A video CD showing audio and visual description about the basics of textiles has also been provided along with the book. This video will be a helpful tool for the readers.
