The present book entitled The Nepalis of North Eastern Frontier of India is the first empirical study on the frontier Nepalis of Arunachal Pradesh. The study has portrayed the fact that the Nepalis are treated as immigrants, outsiders, foreigners, non-tribals etc. in North East India. Their contribution to the nation building endeavors has hardly been recognized by the mainstream communities of the country and more particularly the people of North East region including the Arunachal Pradesh. The present study conducted in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh the eastern most region of the country and this study has explored the fact that in spite of calling Nepal\'s as immigrants, how they are contributing lot to the Arunachal agrarian economy. The Nepalis contributions as well as their assimilation into the tribal way of life proved the agrarian sector of Changlang foothills to be very lucrative not only to the tribals of the district but also the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The study will be the source material for not only the laymen, students and scholars who are interested to study the Nepalis in Arunachal Pradesh but also the policy makers of government and other developmental agencies of the country.
