The present book makes a humble attempt to understand what problems working women have to face at home as well as their working places. The study shall also concentrate what rights are available to women under Indian labour laws and to create awareness among women about their rights. An effort has been made to discuss whether constitutional provisions, beneficial labour laws, national and international commitments, protective measures and judicial pronouncements are sufficient to provide protection to women workers or not.
