Wood rotting fungi are the primary decomposer of wood in any terrestrial ecosystem. This book is a pictorial guide on wood rotting fungi collected from Koderma Wildlife Sanctuary, Jharkhand, India. One hundred species of this highly important group of macrofungi is presented systematically with their morphological description, notes and illustrations. Key to the families, genera and species of respective taxonomic groups are also supplemented for easy identification. This is a first attempt to unveil the diversity of macrofungi from the dry deciduous forest of Jharkhand and it will undoubtedly be helpful for the students, researchers, foresters, environmentalists and policy makers.
