"World Heritage Sites have their own importance as they are meant for every mankind in world. Rich and diversified background of any country reflects the maturity of civilization. Diversified World Heritage Sites in India include both flora and fauna along with its various historical and cultural sites of global importance. UNESCO has declared 878 World Heritage Sites in the world till 30 March 2008 among which 679 are cultural, 174 are natural and 25 are considered to be mixes category. This book is an effort to bring out a brief description of all World Heritage Sites in India. Besides this the book also bears the list of country wise World Heritage Sites."
