The all important and most successful Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) is described to conserve global endangered species. Similarly, the Montreal protocol to reduce global emission of fluorocarbons to protect the Ozone layer is described, besides the related Vienna convention on migratory species focusing on the actions undertaken by range states for protecting these vital species is covered in detail. Similarly, world heritage convention to protect the cultural and natural sites of international importance is covered in detail.
