"India is in need of several affordable innovations in the IT Sector to leverage the advantages for the benefit of the society at large. The major sectors which are witnessing a special thrust for adoption of IT are E-Governance, insurance, banks, financial institutions, energy, defence, public tax system, ports, customs, telecommunication, education, small office, home office/individuals etc. Large sectors with slow IT penetration rate such as textile industry and healthcare are being encouraged by the government and private sector to adopt IT.

Our society needs to be rejuvenated and there is a need at this point of time for young and matured minds to come forward and assist to make it more vibrant than ever before. The conference offers a multidisciplinary forum to facilitate the exchange of information on the current theory, research, development and practice of information technology. All human activities require knowledge and skills and when computers are used by qualified and experienced people they are able to meet the challenges of the future to live in an ethical and highly developed society."
