This book will serve the student community as a textbook for basic real analysis. Beginning with Dedekind’s construction of real numbers, it includes those properties of the real numbers which makes it so special, different kind of subsets of the set of real number along with different kind of points on the real field. A detailed study of sequence and series is undertaken. This book ends with an introduction to single variable differential calculus discussing Mean Value theorems, expansion of functions, L’ Hospital Rule and extreme values of a function. An attractive feature of the book is the presentation of the subject matter in easy and simple way. Also, sufficient number of solved and practicing problems have been included.

The book is intended mainly for use as a textbook/reference book at senior undergraduate level or junior post graduate level and as a use full reference book for researchers in industries.
