A Review of All India Council Technical Education : With Schemes and Guidelines

Technical education has been defined as: education and training related to employment. It concerns all levels from semi-skilled jobs and routine work, to professional occupations and managerial and executive posts of high responsibility. It may be undertaken before employment or concurrently with it, in relation to restricted tasks or it may be aimed at future advancement. Inevitably it is thus the close concern of industry and commerce on the one hand and of the educational systems and of the professions on the other.
