"Entrepreneurship if developed earnestly and concrete steps taken in this regard in a systematic way can prove to be a panacea for alleviating poverty and boosting economic growth of the country. Deliberations on economic, technical, social, and political forum are being held on promotion of self employment and entrepreneurship as alternative options to wage employment. 15th National Conference on advances on Frontier of Entrepreneurship from research to Result was organized by EDIC department of NITTR Chandigarh from 17 19 November, 2008. This conference provided a common platform to researchers, academicians, policy makers, and entrepreneurs to deliberate on the issues, opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship.
