Arid and semi arid regions covering 38 percent geographical area of India have been cradle of rich biodiversity in its variety of botanicals as well as their uses. Algal flora of the Churu District, Rajasthan contains 182 algal species. It contains updated nomenclature, important synonyms, short diagnostic description, ecological data and dichotomous keys from class to intra specific level.
