This is the first book on Larseman Hills, Antarctica published by Botanical Survey of India (BSI), which is the outcome of 33rd Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica and first expedition to Larsemann Hills, Antarctica from BSI by the Author. In this book author tried to express her in-depth feelings of the heart, what she felt from the beginning of the journey to the Antarctica, and the experiences during this journey and each and every memorable moments of this ice loaded continent of the Antarctica. 
This book touched every aspects and part of Larsemann Hills, Antarctica right from the beginning before the expedition started till the end, the experiences during training at Mountaineering and Skiing Institute (ITBP), Auli, Uttarakhand to journey to Antarctica, stay and expedition at Indian Research Station: Bharati, Antarctica, Scientific studies and about the establishment of country’s first Antarctica Gallery at Central Botanical Laboratory, Botanical Survey of India, Howrah.

This book highlights the hidden diversity of Cyanoprokaryotes and Algae of Larsemann Hills Antarctica for the first time from BSI. Author presented the factual Cyanoprokaryotes and Algal profile of Larsemann Hills, Antarctica in nature from diverse habitats of different Peninsulas and Icelands of this extreme climatically harshest region of the world environment and documented 80 taxa. The test is enriched with high quality habitat photographs as well as photomicrographs of each species.
