This book is specifically written with Bachelor of Fisheries Science undergrads in mind. Although there are numerous works on advanced finfish physiology accessible, this book aims to provide UG students with a foundational understanding of the physiology of finfish and shellfish. This book is based on the ICAR syllabus, which is followed by almost all the fisheries colleges across India. To provide general understanding, a brief introduction to Fish Nutrition and Biochemistry is also included in the book. This book will be helpful for those who are preparing for JRF and Fisheries competitive examinations. The Authors have briefly covered the fundamentals of Finfish and Shellfish physiology for students at the beginner level.
