As in the earlier book with the title Between Friends, the author provokes strenuous reflection on issues, which matter today and stresses the importance of multiple perspectives instead of dogmatism, skepticism or obscurantism. She firmly believes that the present does not trump the past and that this needs remembering as we face an uncertain future.
