The corrupt bureaucracy of India has also been deeply touched by the Central Bureau of Investigation in which Seniors Officers of the Excise Department, Customs Department, Income Tax and Civic Bodies, Senior Officers have been booked, their premises have been raided and searched and it has been held that huge amounts of money and assets have been amassed by the corrupt bureaucracy of India.

So on the face of it the Central Bureau of Investigation has cone commendable work in some fields and it is expected that in the political field also Central Bureau of Investigation will ultimately be successful in identifying and hauling the offenders." (jacket)
