"Capital Account Convertibility in India is an edited volume consisting of selected articles (presented in one of the technical sessions of the BEA 27th Annual Conference (2007) held at Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata) dealing exclusively with the capital account liberalization in India. The volume contains altogether 11 articles. The volume begins with an overview f the articles by the editors Biswajit Chatterjee and Asim K. Karmakar.
The book presents an in-depth study of capital account liberalization that has taken place in India as a follow-up of the reform measures since 1990s. Teachers, researchers, students and the general readers, who are interested in the field will find the book immensely useful." (jacket)
