Pesticides are chemical that kill pests and are categorized by the types of pests they kill. Insecticides kill insects, herbicides kill weeds, bactericides kill bacteri, fungicides kill fungi and algicides kill algae.
The present book “Chemistry of the Pesticides” the whole subject matter has been divided into twenty three chapters and seven parts. Part I deals with synthetic organic insecticides, Part II has been dedicated to the information regarding natural organic insecticides, Part III inorganic insecticides, Part IV Fungicides, Part V Herbicides, Part VI Adjuvants and Part VII Rodenticides.
