Dalit literature is a recent new trend emerging in India. This community is neglected by the creamy layer people. The local dominated Shudras exploited atishudra\'s of India who were known as untouchables. Dalit as a broder sense engulfed many other minorities communities. The term Dalit means poor. India is a land where hundreds of minor communities are living indeed. Before Indian Independence many tribes were living in the forest today they are all evacuated and exploited by the three percent minorities. The hegemony of power was concentrated in the hands of priestly class.

I have made an attempt to complete eleven essays of different scholars to begin with these essays must be appropriated and my book Dalit literature our response is being received well by the critic, intellectuals, writers and thinkers of India and out side India. (jacket)
