This book attempts to introduce and/or broaden the paradigm and approach to development from a demand side against the conventional supply side management. The Synergy therefore is establishing the evolution of growth strategies in the past for its realism and accordingly establishing ways to leverage the resource base from local and global space. It therefore argues that economic growth is imperative for development but the trickle down mechanisms are to be arbitrated through demand variables. It looks into the realism involved in the contemporary growth and development scenarios and seeks the gaps for the future orientation of paradigms for its practical relevance in a market framework. It hence combines the perceptions, resources endowments and the management domains towards an integrated understanding of the way forward for sustainable development. It draws examples and inferences form different parts of the world towards establishing realism in the paradigms as well as to inculcate a broader framework to fit in the global development contexts.
