It is the study of the creative writings of Indian Diaspora, their sense and sensibility, their feelings and experiences, their desire and aspirations, their sufferings and suffocations, and their differences from the writers termed as stay-at-homes. It is to investigate the aesthetic implications of expatriation for the fictional genre, which is nothing but expressions of cultural, social and psychological centrality, that is, the creative writings creative focus of literary culture, which has shifted to the margins today. Such as writings brought a sort of convulsion in the lot of Indian English writing and the global writing as a whole which share some common ingredient and feeling of any other Diaspora writing with certain inalienable characteristics of its own, that merged in the mainstream to make it an organic whole for the existing resonance and future generation, taken as acceptance to the main corpus of literature. For a proper understanding of diasporic cultural and literary engagements across geographies, histories, nations and communities we need a thorough penetration in the subtle nuances of complex terrain of diasporic experience and its different dimensions.
