The earthquake at Latur 30th September 1993 has many dimensions of social changes. The rise from destruction has brought many visible better and worst changes in the earthquake affected communities. The rehabilitation programmes launched by the state government of Maharashtra and NGO has put the community into transformation. The author has examined the implications of rehabilitation on the affected communities. In this book, the changes in socio-economic and cultural aspects of rehabilitee community have been traced. It has also focused on problem raised out of rehabilitation and adaptation of new lifestyle. (jacket)
