From the Preface “This work was undertaken at Dalhousie University, Canada as a partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. It aims at synthesizing the findings related to higher psychological functions obtained from brain research especially in the area of split-brain studies and highlighting their implications for education. An awareness of these significant findings among educators as well as parents is essential for a full development of mental potentialities of our youngsters, who are going to be the citizens of tomorrow.”
