For the first time in India an attempt has been made to present a holistic study of tribal participation in education in the context of various interventions at primary stage linking to tribal culture, development and quality of life. The book overhauls the primary education system operating in the areas of tribal concentrations covering the aspects of access, opportunities problems and participation of tribal children in schooling process, availability and utilization of school infrastructure and learning resources, teachers\' participation in tribal environment teaching learning and school management as well as participation of tribal community in schooling process of their children and school management activities.
