This documentation and analysis of India’s Parliamentary elections, providing an archive of electoral data & statistics since 1952 to 2024 was first publishedin the year 2004 when India went to elect the 14th Lok Sabha, the lower house of its Parliament. The current study is 5th in a row and has completed 20years of its journey. This two-volume study provides a mine of information, serving as a handbook on all 18 Lok Sabha elections held so far. Sourced fromofficial authentic platforms, data has been extensively analysed, adding immense research value to the study. The publication has increasingly been recognized as one of the primary sources of data on electoral studies and has lately emerged as a vital reference source for social scientists, policymakers, researchers, and psephologists. It is hoped that in the coming years, the study will increase its reach globally and be found as an essential source of a time series data on Indian elections.
