The present book on “Employment and Job Creation: Opportunities and Challenges” spells the relation between growth and employment via output and investment. The multiplier effects of investment results into expanding activities and expanding job creation in the system besides via effective demand expansion out of income growth through productive employment. It raises the consumption baskets of the work force in general and it gives an incentive to induced investment out of ones saving in favourable social climate. The zigzag of growth process is created by set of indigenous factors in the system. There are many social and political factors that put effective pressures on employment and job creation function of growth. The investing capital class seeks profits expansion and a return on its capital cost, while working class desires opportunities of increased wage income so that it can get translated into assets at their disposal to boost its household income for their disposal to boost its household income for their other social development needs.
