"Euthanasia--the action of inducing a gentle, painless and easy death, which is also popularly called "mercy killing", is not a matter of killing anyone. It has become an ethical problem, as to what we should do in order to end the intense suffering of the terminally ill and incurable patients. How can one make \'dying\' more gentle, humane, less violent and catastrophic, are the main concerns of the present day society. The society is seriously thinking how to avoid \'Cacothanasia\', which means an ugly and violent death." (jacket)
