Solar thermochemical process. 10. Solar thermal energy. 11. Heat transfer and chemical reactions. Bibliography. Index.
Thermochemistry is the study of the energy evolved or absorbed in chemical reactions and any physical transformations, such as melting and boiling., it is concerned with the energy exchange accompanying transformations, such as mixing, phase transitions, chemical reactions, and including calculations of such quantities as the heat capacity, heat of combustion, heat of formation, enthalpy, and free energy.
This book has been designed for both undergraduate as well as post graduate students in chemistry. The focus of the book is concentrated not just on the conventional experiments in thermochemistry, but also on the currents trends, developments and researches in instrumental analysis. We hope that the lucidity, depth and well-researched content of the book is appreciated by all.
