While teaching the subject on “Floor and Floor Coverings” it was observed that there are very few books available on the “Floor Coverings” which enables the students & staff to refer the relevant information. Also information is scanty and scattered.  Because of unavailability of specific information on the subject of floor covering most of the students also made several queries about the lack of complete information about the floor covering at different places such as home, office and guest houses. Looking the present situation tried my level best to describe the importance of floor coverings selection and choices as per the choice of students and home makers.
