Flora of Phulchoki and Godawari
From the Introduction: "The present work includes 527 species of angiospermic and two species of gymnospermic plants. 15 of them marked with asterisk are new records for Nepal. Photographs of these specimens appear with the text. The plants enumerated herein have been collected by a number of collectors of the Department of Medicinal Plants for the last few years and during 1967-1968 intensive collections were made every fortnightly. The description of the species, their flowering and fruiting periods and their local names are based on the collected specimens and their field notes.
This book has been arranged according to Bentham and Hooker\'s system of classification incorporating the latest circumscription of families given in Metcalfe and Chalk\'s Aantomy of the Dicotyledons (1950) and monocotyledons according to Hutchinson\'s classification described in The Families of Flowering Plants (1959)."
