The present edition of the Suket state gazetteer has been compiled under the kind instructions of his highness the Raja Sahib of Suket State.

In some places passages have been reproduced from the Mandi state gazetteer, the old edition of the Suket state gazetteer, the forest settlement report of the Suket state, the assessment reports of the Suket state, and the Punjab census reports. Doctor Hutchison of Chamba has contributed the chapter on the political history of the state. (jacket)
