Geethatmaa

The talented poetess from India, Gethanjali Dilippe, invites us, with her new sole anthology, to partake a journey of emotions through her wide range of human situations and feelings expressed skilfully in her poems of rhyme and verse. An anthology aptly entitled Geethatma – Song of the Soul. I would mention briefly some of the poems in a short review:

“Birth” is an excellent opening choice, dealing with the birth of the universe, our planet, fauna, flora and human existence. “Padmesana” finds us in our own dream world. “ “Dusters” details metaphors of life. “Where is where” and “Spin” are spiritual poems “Death wish of an angel” enters the realm of Gothic poetry.

Those who have the pleasure of reading Geethanjali´s poetry and take the time to accompany her on a journey to a Song of the Soul, will surely remember the experience and will look forward to travel again in the future, enjoying new discoveries through the words of Geethanjali Dilippe. (jacket)
