"This novel has though been conceived in the backdrop of US-Iraq war and the devastation caused by America in Iraq, it also highlights some such human issues as are of perennial nature. For instance the political rivalries among various countries, racial discriminations, loss and desecration of human values, misuse of power, exploitation of weak nations at the hands of the powerful ones, man\'s shallowness, greed devastations caused by the use of arms environmental pollution, proliferation of nuclear weapons and the fear psychosis caused by them are the main issues creatively projected in this novel."
