This book on Hyperspectral Data, Analysis Techniques and Applications published by the Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS) is targeted towards the scientists, researchers and students working in the field of Hyperspectral remote sensing. This book has been adopted from the compendium of lecture notes, compiled for a hyperspectral tutorial, conducted by ISRS-Ahmedbad Chapter at space applications centre, Ahmedabad in December, 2008. The book has eight chapters. The chapters deal with hyperspectral imaging principles, sensors, data processing techniques and applications in various fileds (vegetation, geology and water resources), a software for spectral analysis apart from an overview on Indian earth observation programme. The chapters are written by eminent experts from India and abroad. The book also contains a glossary of terms related to Hyperspectral remote sensing.
