Inclusive education is a kind of innovative system of education for children with different kinds of disabilities. A lot of experiments have taken place and with the new findings of these experiments, the old systems have been modified. The NPE (1986) and its revised form with Program of Action (1992) has rightly emphasized the integration of children with disability with other groups for enabling them to socialize and develop courage and confidence in them.
This process of education has been now in practice and is being discussed in various fora at the regional and national levels. Some documents have also been developed. The NCERT has discussed not only the theoretical importance and needs of inclusive education but also suggested innovative measures for making it a success.
