This Book deals with an advanced study of Indias, political system in historical and contemporary perspectives. The present political system, as devised by our founding fathers, stands on the foundations laid by the great national leaders, during the course of freedom movement as well as on the statutory arrangement made by the British rulers to somehow maintain their imperial hold over this vast country. The operation of this political system has witnessed supplementation of the constitution in 1950.
