Higher education plays a vital role in development of human beings. The challenges of quality in Higher Education have many dimensions in terms of adequate teachers of requisite quality; effectiveness of teaching-learning processes; attainment levels of students, infrastructural facilities etc. The impact of information technology in different dimensions of higher education has been pronounced over the last two decades in India.  Higher education sector over the last decade has seen many new challenges.
