Terrorism is a great threat to the unity, integrity and economic development of a country. But with fanning its base across the world has really becomes the great cause of concern for the people living on the earth. Arms, ammunitions and techniques being used by the terrorists are really innovative and of very improved quality. The potential for catastrophic terrorist attacks that affect critical infrastructure is on incessant growth. The consequences of an attack on the industrial control systems of critical infrastructure could vary widely. It is commonly assumed that a successful cyber attack would cause few if any, causalities, but might result in loss of vital infrastructures services.
There is a deliberate effort on the part of author to cover detail about infrastructure of terrorism across the world in the real sense of the term. (jacket)
