Insect pests are the most important factor limiting vegetable production. To check the nefarious activities of these relentless enemies and to reduce the losses, research on the insect pests of vegetable crops and their control was initiated by scientists.

The aim of this book to provide in detail the available information on various aspects of insect pests damaging vegetable crops which has hitherto remained scattered in various journals and technical reports and is not easily available to the interest workers scholars and progressive cultivars.
