The first and foremost objective of the Special Education is to provide education in such a way that children with disability can live independently. The achievement of such objective largely depends upon the performances of the classrooms in special schools. Again, Children with Mentally Handicapped mostly exhibit problem behaviour which affects not only their learning but also the whole classroom. Because of the imitation other children in a class follows the same behaviour one does. The class, teacher becomes helpless and learning outcomes does not prove effective. It is in fact that the independency of the Children with Mentally Handicapped can only be attained when they have no behavioural problem and they work as per their given training. The present book discusses the nature and importance of managing problem behaviour including the scientific techniques used to reduce problem behaviours in children with mental retardation. This book will be helpful for the Special Educators and Professionals working with children with Mental Retardation, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Learning Disability, For the parents with above disabled children this book will be a greatest help.
