"Transnational companies have to face diverse cultural trends while operating in the different parts of the world. The cultural differences may affect the market behavior as well as the marketing decision making of the multinational companies. So the transnational organizations and their managers must understand and analyze the impact of cultural environment on the workings of multinational business ventures in order to take the advantage of emerging global work culture. There are several reasons that suggests as to why global diversification and multinational firms performance should be positively related. A careful monitoring of the economic, competitive technological, legal, ethical, political and cultural elements is mandatory before and while operating into any foreign country.

The first three chapters of this book define and evaluate the conceptual framework of cultural, business culture and its components namely religion, language, education, social organizations, value systems, political as well as legal and sociologists. The problems and experiences of transnational firms while dealing with cultural diversity are enumerated and analyzed in the fourth chapter. The chapters five to eleven focus on cultural specifics for doing business and providing services in various parts of the world. These chapters give exposition of contemporary cultural issues and introduction to some cultural differences between American, European, Middle East, Asian, Australian and African Culture.
