Introductory Entomology: Insect Morphology, Anatomy, Physiology and Taxonomy

Various technologies were derived in the sub branches of Entomology viz, agricultural entomology, medical entomology, forest entomology and veterinary entomology for the effective control/management of insect pest species. Fundamental knowledge on scientific information with respect to insect morphology, anatomy and physiology is essential for proper management of deleterious insects. The science of insects is a dynamic field, which require periodical updation. Hence, knowledge on basic science namely insect morphology, anatomy, physiology and taxonomy is essential for doing research on applied scientific principles like IPM, vector control and their diseases.
