The present Volume contains twenty two articles and research papers written by language teachers, scholars and language educators working in the area of teaching second and foreign languages. These articles and papers address some of the important issues such as locally and culturally suitable material production teaching of pronunciation and spelling grammar and developing adequate learning skills with learner centric strategies, translation incorporation of culture and literature in language teaching language education of the Deaf children as well as taking a critical look at teachers training with special reference to teaching and learning second and foreign languages in the North Eastern Region of India.
