Ladakh the Land of Splendour

During my visits to India over the last few years I started to hear more and more about Ladakh from family and friends. Being a photographer and a nature lover, I decided I had to go visit the region for myself, only to discover that once is not enough. The mountains, the glaciers, the lakes, the monasteries and the people beckon you to return, so here I was planning my next visit even before I reached home in Singapore. The region\'s natural beauty, its remoteness of location which fortunately allows it to remain unaffected to a large extent by the dilemmas of the modern world, the rich culture and heritage as well as great treks, promise to provide a great holiday experience for young and old alike.
