"This work brings together the history, geography and culture of the state in Part A. Part B gives an overview of libraries and library movement in Rajasthan from early period to the present day. Part C covers various kinds of libraries under the heads government public libraries; some princely libraries severing public till date; school libraries with details of conferences, seminars, resolutions, etc; college libraries, rules regarding writing off books, losses, staff norms, status, grants, library fee, pay-scales, promotion, etc; University libraries and their status; and special libraries in the state.
