The present volume contains twenty two research papers and articles written by language teachers scholars and language educators working in the area of language education at different levels. These papers and articles address some of the issues pertaining to teaching of second languages vocabulary reading lexicography mother tongue and tribal language education, deaf education, pedagogy and second language classroom literature and culture in language education topics in literatures of the second/foreign languages taught in the North East Region and so on.
The articles and papers presented in this volume highlight the importance of integrating literature and culture in second/foreign language teaching and discuss some of the problems faced by the second and foreign language teachers.
